Blair "Never Give Up" McEwen of Corinth, TX, went to meet his maker, friend and savior, Jesus Christ on July 31, 2016 after battling pancreatic cancer for almost two years. Blair was born on April 22, 1960 in Eden Prairie, MN. He grew up with his parents, Royal and Bonnie, and his four siblings, Barry, Boyd, Beckie and Barbara in Barron, WI and then to Sedalia, MO. He met the love of his life in Barron, and took Brenda's hand in marriage at 19 years of age. They traveled the country together - a passion they both held dear. They had a wonderful life, residing in Barron, WI, Phoenix, AZ, Sugar Land, TX, and Flower Mound, TX,with their two children, Briana and Berek. From hunting with his bow, to good-old- fashion camping trips, to racing, Blair was always out for adventure. As a young boy, he loved racing go-carts while his mother cheered him on. As Blair's son grew up, he saw the racer in Berek, and they traveled the country together racing the Superkarts USA pro series - Blair as crew chief and Berek as driver. But his greatest adventure was always with Brenda. In their 36 years together, they traveled the country on their Harley-Davidson earning the Iron Butt Patch along with many great memories. His grandchildren are his other greatest adventure. He loved, coached, laughed and shared life lessons with them, always giving his all-always pushing the limits to achieve greatness, living life to the fullest. Blair was a man of integrity and character, a leader who helped plant churches, and shepherd church youth organizations for The Kingdom. He was a certified welder, core of engineer's worker, and business man who excelled in executive sales for Culligan Water. Over the past 11 years he became a well-respected Realtor along with his partner and son, Berek and wife, Brenda. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Brenda; his children, Briana (McEwen) and Jordan Wollman and their children Remy and Liam; Berek and Mallory (Painter) McEwen and their children Mason and Brinley; his siblings and their families. He is further survived by family and a multitude of friends that he deeply loved. Waiting for him at the gates of heaven are his father and mother, Royal and Bonnie McEwen, his wife Brenda's parents, Carl and Betty Hansen, and his brother-in- law and dear friend, Pat Madison. A celebration of Blair's life will be held at 5800 Long Prairie Rd, Flower Mound, TX 75028 on Monday, August 15, 2016 at 10:30am.
