David Paul Lipe

David Paul Lipe, age 74, passed away peacefully at Clarehouse Hospice July 7, 2022 surrounded by family.
He was born in Murphysboro, Il to Paul and Esther Lipe on July 24, 1947. He was the oldest of five boys.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. His passion and loyalty to those he loved was unwavering. His infectious smile and laugh will live on forever.
He attended Murphysboro High School, Class of 1965. He enlisted in the US Navy 1965 and was a proud Vietnam Veteran. He moved to Tulsa in 1969 and began working for Central Air doing heat and air. In 1986 he started his own electrical, heat and air company, S and D Heat and Air, and he worked there until he retired in 2009.
He loved to hunt, fish, garden, travel, and spend time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Connie, daughter, Heather (Stefanie Hunter) Lipe, sons Chris (Jessica) Lipe, and Jon (Amber) Lipe; grandsons, Aidan and Franklin Lipe, three brothers, step children, grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and longtime friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Phillip Lipe.

His celebration of life will be held at the VFW, 1109 East 6th Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma on July 30, 2022 at 1:00 p.m
