Emily Ann Whitney

March 19, 1986 — April 15, 2024

Emily Ann Whitney, 38, left this earth on Monday April 15th, 2024. After a lengthy but brave battle with cancer she passed, with her husband bedside holding her hand. Emily was the epitome of a wrestling mom, never missing her kids matches even just days after brain surgery. She was an amazing cook and loved to try food from around the world, and chances are she could take a recipe and make it better! She loved her family deeply and was so proud of her kids. Her strength in her battle with cancer and her refusal to give up reached so many people across the country and for that she will never be forgotten! She wasn’t very outgoing but if you were one of her people she would fight tooth and nail for you. She battled health related issues from a young age but never let any of it keep her from living her best life. Her Foo Fighters air drum solos and her Emyisms will be deeply missed! She is preceded in death by her father David Charles Bowers. She leaves behind her two children, her son Jude Whitney and daughter Remy Whitney, her husband Chad Ryan Whitney, mother Tammy Albrightson and siblings Brandon Bowers, Crystal Steffler, Venus Parker and Melanie Bradley as well as several nieces and nephews. Emilys celebration of life will be held at the Elks Lodge in El Reno on May 11th at 7pm.
