Missy grew up in Hershey, Nebraska where she graduated from Hershey High School in 1989. After graduation, Missy relocated to Ogallala where she enjoyed working at Safeway for many years sharing her sweet smile with so many. After surviving a car crash in New York in 2006, Missy moved back to Nebraska and eventually found a home in Oklahoma. Unfortunately, Missy's muscular dystrophy progressed following the accident and she enjoyed her last few years in a loving home where she enjoyed daily crafts, putting puzzles together with friends and most of all Bingo! While Missy has had many struggles in her life, she has always made the best of it and lived and loved to the fullest. Missy loved with her whole heart and would do anything for anybody, especially her family and friends. Our family is grateful to know that she is finally at peace. Following a small graveside service at the Ogallala Cemetery on December 2, 2022 at 1:30 p.m., we will be celebrating Missy's life at the Ogallala Masonic Temple, 1003 E 3rd Street, in Ogallala, Nebraska, all are welcome. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you give your loved ones an extra hug from Missy! Memorials will be given to a charitable organization of the family's choice.
