Myrna Day Henry (1940 - 2017) Myrna Day Henry, 76, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2017, at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma, after a battle with cancer. She was born December 22, 1940, in Toledo, Ohio, to Earl Hammond and Mary Elizabeth (Rang) Day and graduated from Montpelier High School in 1958. She graduated from Bowling Green State University in 1963 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education. Myrna was married to Dallas Henry on June 4, 1961 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Montpelier, Ohio. She was an elementary school teacher, teaching 10 years in public education and 31 years in Christian education. She retired from teaching at Oxford Hills Christian Academy in April of 2016. Myrna is survived by her husband, Dallas Henry of Broken Arrow, OK, her sister, Mary Fuller of Springfield, Missouri, and her sister-in-law, Marinete Day of Raytown, Missouri. She is also survived by her children, Timothy Henry and wife, Rachel, of Windham, Maine, Lydia and husband, Gary Bell, of Norwich, New York, and Miriam and husband, Glenn Shaw, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and grandchildren, Leora Henry of Carson City, Nevada and Luke Brewer of Tulsa, Oklahoma. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, March 24, 2 pm, at Tulsa Christian Fellowship, 2121 E. Third St., Tulsa, Oklahoma. There will also be a service held on Saturday, April 29, 2 pm, at Hosanna New Testament Church, 109 Schoolhouse Rd., Oxford, Maine. Condolences can be sent to her husband, Dallas Henry, at 1034 W.
