Nicholas “Nick” Joseph Iacano passed away unexpectedly in his home in Mustang, Oklahoma on November 3, 2021 at the age of 33. Nick was born on February 8, 1988 at Mary Mount Hospital in Garfield Heights, Ohio to Anthony Iacano and Nancy Butwina. He graduated from Nordonia High School in 2006. Nick joined the United States Navy soon after graduating, where he served from December 14, 2006 and was honorably discharged on December 13, 2010. While stationed at Tinker Air Force Base, Nick met Amber Buchanan and they welcomed their son Dominic Joseph Iacano on August 8, 2011. After moving back home to Ohio, Nick eventually relocated back to Oklahoma to be closer to his son. In 2015 Nick accepted a position at Tinker Air Force base as a civilian employee where he worked in Avionics for the B-52 Bombers. In 2016, Nick met the love of his life, Kelsey. After four years of dating, they were married January 18, 2020. Nick is survived by his son, Dominic Iacano; his wife, Kelsey Iacano; his parents, Nancy (Barry) Butwina and Anthony Iacano; his siblings, Cara Iacano, Renee Iacano, Colton Iacano and two nephews, Nicco and Carmine Germano. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Daniel and Barbara Charney. A celebration of life is scheduled for November 13, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Oak Hills Church in Edmond, Oklahoma.
