Orba Goforth

Orba Dee Goforth age 71 of Langley Oklahoma passed away August 13, 2016 He was born in Sardis Oklahoma on August 6, 1945 to Orba “Bud” Goforth & Anna Gertrude Goforth (Burge). He served in the Navy on the USS Debuke during the Vietnam War from 1968 ­1969. 0n January 17, 1968 married Nancy Zender where he raised her three children and went on and had three daughters of their own. After his service he moved to Colorado where he worked and retired from Coors Brewing Company after 36 years of service. Once retired he moved back to Oklahoma where he could spend time with his family and friends. He was a great man that loved hunting and fishing with his grandkids and loved the outdoors,country dancing and working in his shop making things out of wood. He is proceeded in death by both parents: Orba “Bud” Goforth & Anna Gertrude Goforth (Burge) One Brother & Two Sisters: Bill Goforth, Sue Losh & Mary Goforth Survivors include his children: Teresa Stauffer and her husband John of Colorado Deann Blair and her husband Montey of Florida Susan Walker and her husband Brent of Oklahoma Terry Goforth and his wife Carrie of Florida Janet Puttmann and her husband David of Colorado Jeanie Harrison and her husband Dave of Oklahoma Brothers: John Goforth and his wife Jennie of Oklahoma Don Goforth and his wife Faye of Colorado Albert Goforth and his wife Sheila of Oklahoma Delane Goforth of Oklahoma Sisters: Betty Baker and her husband Lawrence of Oklahoma Mae Harrison and her husband Jim of Oklahoma Agnes Zitkus of Oklahoma Shirley Stanley and her husband Martin of Colorado Along with: 20 Grandchildren & 17 Great Grandchildren and many Nieces ,Nephews & Cousins He will be truly loved and missed by all that knew him.
