Rita Louise Brown

Rita Louise Brown was born in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, on August 27, 1947, to Jewell Qualls and Marie (Jones) Qualls. Rita passed from this earthly life on January 19, 2025, at 77 years old. Rita was beloved by many, known for her pure heart and loving nature. Rita was a long-time resident of Okmulgee, Ok, and was proceeded in death by her parents, her husband Gene Brown of Chouteau, Ok, daughter Terry Carder of Okmulgee, Ok, sister Linda Casey and brother Larry Qualls, both of Okmulgee, niece Tabitha Hoosier of Okmulgee and nephew Duane Qualls of Okmulgee and several aunt and uncles. Rita is survived by her son, Jack Qualls, and daughter, Cindy Carder of Okmulgee, grandson Cameron Carder of Okmulgee, and two brothers, Clyde Qualls of Okmulgee and. Jimmy Qualls of Checotah, along with lots of nieces and nephews. Rita spent muchking as a caregiver, a homemaker, and caring for the young children in her family. She was known as the pillar in her family who loved each of them without limitation and was an inspiration to all who crossed her path.
