Ronald Wayne Moore, 65, of Aurora, Texas transitioned to Heaven Sunday, May 14, 2017 at Cancer Treatment Centers of America in Tulsa, Oklahoma surrounded by his family. He was born on July 26, 1951 in Fayetteville, North Carolina to Hallie Lee (Croker) Moore and George Norman Moore. Ronnie’s heart was always on reaching the lost whether preaching to crowds or on a one-on-one basis. His teaching gift was pragmatic in nature, giving everything within himself to obey whatever the Lord asked of him. Nothing was ever done half-heartedly. He loved the Lord immensely and his greatest desire was to be in God’s will for his life. After graduating from Rhema Bible Training Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, he and his wife, Shirlene accepted the pastorate of Faith and Love Foursquare Church in White, Oklahoma where they served from 1975-1981. In 1981 they moved their family to Ft. Worth, Texas where they founded Word of Love Christian Center in Hurst, Texas. Word of Love Church continues to thrive to this day. He was also founder and President of Ronnie Moore Ministries. Ronnie received his Master of Arts in Theological Studies in 1999. He was preceded in death by one son, Shine Wayne Moore, his father, George Norman Moore, mother, Hallie Lee Moore, brothers, George N. Moore and James Troxler. Survivors include, his wife of 44 years, Shirlene Moore; son Brice Moore and spouse, Kindra Moore, son Kyle Moore and spouse, Angela Moore, four grandchildren, Thylyn Moore, Nicholas Moore, Kynlee Moore and Alexandra Moore; Sisters, Mary McGlasson and spouse, Tommy, Pamela Moore and brother Tommy Troxler and spouse Beverly; mother-in-law, Shirley Osburn; brother-in-laws, Danny Osburn and spouse Janice, Jackie Osburn and spouse Deborah and sister-in-law Rhonda Redifer and spouse Manny, many nieces, nephews, as well as his loving church family and a multitude of friends. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 27 at 2:00 PM at Word of Love Church, 1860 Precinct Line Road, Hurst, Texas. Pastor Tony Krishack officiating A Celebration of Life will also be held on Saturday, June 3 at 3:00 PM at Log Cabin Ministries, 442445 E. 330 Rd., Vinita, Oklahoma. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to National Cancer Society; Word of Love Church or Ronnie Moore Ministries.
