Theola Leenhouts

Theola Leenhouts, 93, died on July 5, 2021, in her home in Oklahoma City. She was born and grew up in the Ozark community near Altus. She was the youngest daughter of seven children of the late Theo and Janie Cross. She lived in many countries, establishing herself permanently in Oklahoma City in 1983. She is survived by her four children, Stephen, Mollie, Rebecca, Martha, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Sue McPhail, Roy Cross, Ray Cross, Ladell Woodworth, Doris Collins, Jimmy Cross, and by her husband, Max Leenhouts. Her ashes will be buried at the Navajo Cemetery near Altus. In lieu of sending flowers, you may wish to donate to a charity. Her choice would have been the Oklahoma Foundation Medical Research (omrf.org).
