Victor Aramburu

Victor Jose Aramburu passed away peacefully on January 20, 2018. He was born in Lima, Peru to Jose Aramburu Olaechea and his wife Carmen in 1937. During his youth he lived and worked in the San Francisco Bay area but returned to Lima, Peru to start a family in the late 1960’s. For the majority of his life, Victor worked as an entrepreneur in the farming equipment industry in Peru prior to moving to Tulsa. He loved living life to the fullest, never encountered a problem he couldn’t solve and had a resilient and adventurous spirit. He is survived by his wife Lilia Elena Tinoco; his children Jose Manuel Aramburu Tinoco, Talia Rita Shaull and V. Andres Aramburu Tinoco; his grandson Ethan; as well as his brother Jorge Sanchez Guarda; sisters Maria Sanchez Guarda, Alicia Sanchez de Quezada, Zully Sanchez de Calderon and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his son Juan Francisco, his father Jose, his mother Carmen, and his sister Carmen Aramburu de Rosello. A family-only service will be held in Tulsa to honor his life and a larger service will be held with family and friends in Lima, Peru at a later date.
