Virginia Sue Edmundson

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Virginia Sue Edmundson on July 12, 2024. She departed this world surrounded by loved ones peacefully in her home.

Virigina was born on May 6, 1952 in Fort Worth, TX to James and Martha Goodwin. She grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma and graduated from Memorial Highschool.

Virgina was known for her generosity, kindness, and loyalty. She had a passion for puzzles and collecting hippopotamuses. She spent much of her time with her grandbabies and even some of her great grands. She always made time for coffee with friends and/or remembering birthdays/special events for those she loved.

Virginia is survived by daughters, Patti K Rowland (Brock TX) and Teri L Caldwell and Tony (Owasso, OK), in addition to her siblings Martha (Steve) Coburn, James (Tonia) Goodwin, Jr. and John Goodwin. She had 6 grand children (Shelby Nesselrode, Kylie Caldwell, Makenzi Graham, Zeke Rowland, Payton Caldwell, and Emerson Rowland) as well as 5 ½ great grandbabies (Elena, Bentley, Stetson, Blakely, Addy, and one on the way October 6) and countless friends who will miss her presence dearly. She was preceded in death by her father and mother (James and Martha Goodwin).

At her request, there will be no memorial service. Family will gather to share memories and stories at a later date.

We will forever cherish the memories we have with mom and hold her legacy close to our hearts.
